Our Mission
The Food Allergy Institute (FAI) is the largest food allergy treatment center of its kind. Through our unique approach to food allergy treatment, our Tolerance Induction Program™ (TIP) helps us drive our mission for all children who suffer from food allergies to safely eat whatever they want.
We are a division of the Translational Pulmonary and Immunology Research Center (TPIRC), a non-profit clinical care and research center that focuses on the development of cutting-edge, individualized treatment protocols for rare and orphan diseases utilizing comprehensive diagnostic tools and patient-driven research.

Continuity of Care
With our innovative patient care model, each patient is paired with a team of healthcare professionals to help guide them through their treatment plan. Our dedicated clinic team builds meaningful relationships with every patient and gets to witness major milestones along their treatment journey. From introducing their first allergen to achieving complete remission, we are there every step of the way.
Schedule
Our clinic hours are Monday – Friday from 8 am – 5 pm. We are also closed on all major holidays (10 to be exact)! This means you can have a work-life balance and change someone’s life at the same time.
Meaningful Work
At Food Allergy Institute, we give patients hope for a future of endless possibilities. These families have been told that they must accept a restricted lifestyle, and many have been turned away from traditional exposure therapies or dropped out due to adverse reactions.
We help our patients regain their confidence and give them a future that is filled with birthday parties, sleepovers, and the safety to eat whatever they want, whenever they want, without fear of reaction.
Research From Bench To Bedside
The research we are doing in the lab every day is used to treat patients actively in the program. If a patient has an unexpected reaction or we need to make a modification to the treatment plan, we can go back to the laboratory to perform research to find the safest and most effective solution. This helps us ensure our patients’ reaction rate is as low as possible throughout the entirety of their treatment regimen.
The Future of Healthcare
With our innovative machine learning model, every patient treated through the Tolerance Induction Program™ (TIP) improves the accuracy and efficiency of treatment plans for future patients.
