Fundraising for the Southern California Food Allergy Institute.

Get inspired by some of our patients and partners who have taken the initiative to help fundraise for the Southern California Food Allergy Institute!

Storey has a story to tell!

Lemonade, home-made slime, and nut-free baked goods — that’s all Storey needed to host her own successful Food Freedom fundraiser! A 10-year-old food allergy entrepreneur, Storey grabbed her two best friends, Chiara and Julie, and in one short weekend established a philanthropic enterprise! With Storey’s inspiration, we kicked-off October’s Food Freedom Month! Not only did she and her friends raise $565 to help support the journey to Food Freedom for children with food allergies, they also had the opportunity to educate their community and 5th grade class on the prevalence of life-threatening food allergies. A perfect example of fundraising for Food Freedom! What started off as a school project, ended with a meaningful contribution to Southern California Food Allergy Institute and all the patients we serve. Thank you, Storey, Chiara and Julie!

Giving Stories

Van Donation Celebration

The Southern California Food Allergy Institute recently celebrated the addition of a brand new van, thanks to the incredible generosity of Glenn and Gigi Moss from the Moss Bros. Auto Group. The Moss’ are one of our TIP families who have continued to support us throughout their granddaughters’ treatments. Casey King, the Moss’ daughter, has had her three children in the TIP™ program since 2016. A special dedication on the van states “Supporting the Mighty King Sisters.” It comes from stories Casey would tell her daughters as she was giving them their doses in the morning.

This new van allows our Food Lab to move into a bigger facility and gives us the ability to transport our patient doses to our clinic and other clinics we will open in the future! We are touched and beyond grateful for this donation which will allow us to increase our production as we continue to increase our patient population.

When you give to the Southern California Food Allergy
Institute, you are giving hope and the power to heal.
