The treatment program involves various non-billable services, such as laboratory support, food support, constant on-call support, heavy data analytics, and more. These services contribute to the overall patient experience and are necessary for their care. The TIP Program Fee helps offset the costs associated with facility work, analytics, diagnostic testing, research, food protein extraction, food preparation, challenge safety, and other aspects of the treatment program. However, it is unfortunate that there are currently no insurance codes (CPT codes) available to specifically cover these non-billable services included in each child’s treatment program.
