What should we do to prepare for our first in-person visit?

There are a few things you can do to prepare for your child’s first in-person appointment, also known as their onboarding appointment:

-Make sure to arrive to the facility 15 minutes early for check-in.

-Seven days prior to your first appointment, please stop all antihistamine use.

-If your child develops an illness before or on the day of their onboarding appointment, please call the enrollment department to reschedule.

-Ensure that your child arrives to their appointment well-fed and fully hydrated, as your child will be completing blood work at this visit.

-Please do not fast for the blood work. After completing onboarding blood draw, do not fly for at least three hours.

-Relax in knowing that your child is on their way to food freedom!
