TPIRC RECEIVES $50,000 PLEDGE FROM FARMERS & MERCHANT BANK

Donation to further growth of innovative treatments, such as the Tolerance Induction Program (TIP™) at Southern California Food Allergy Institute
LONG BEACH, CA (December 9, 2021) – The Translational Pulmonary & Immunology Research Center (TPIRC) has received a $50,000 pledge from Farmers & Merchant Bank (F&M Bank) to support its expansion efforts and further grow its innovative treatment programs, such as the Tolerance Induction Program (TIP™) at Southern California Food Allergy Institute. As its banking partner since the founding of TPIRC in 2015, Farmers & Merchant Bank has seen the thousands of food allergic children who have gone through treatment at Southern California Food Allergy Institute and are now living a life of food freedom.

TPIRC is a non-profit research and clinical care center that combines precision medicine with data analytics to drive the treatment of not only food allergies, but also a series of orphan diseases. The pledge from F&M Bank is an unrestricted donation to further revolutionize food allergy treatment and other rare disease research and treatment.

“For over 15 years I have seen thousands of children and their families find freedom from their food allergies and live a life where they don’t have to be afraid to go to a restaurant, travel to a foreign country, or even go to college, said Dr. Inderpal Randhawa, CEO of TPIRC and Southern California Food Allergy Institute. “F&M Bank has been our partner since we began and we look forward to continuing our growth together as we develop more treatments for people living with rare diseases.”

“Farmers & Merchants Bank is a proud supporter of Translational Pulmonary and Immunology Research Center and Dr. Inderpal Randhawa,” said F&M Bank President Henry Walker. “TPIRC is nationally recognized and draws patients to its Long Beach center from around the country and the world, and has improved countless lives. We hope to see TPIRC continue to improve food allergy and other rare disease treatments.”
