A New Home on the East Coast, Built With the Same Care

For years, so many of our East Coast families have made the trip to California for care, and we've felt every mile of that commitment. That's why we're opening a new treatment center in Hoboken, New Jersey: to bring our data-driven approach to food allergy treatment closer to home for the families who need it most.
Expanding this far from our Long Beach headquarters is the biggest step we've taken as a company. It means new providers, a new facility, and a new team learning to deliver the same precise, personalized standard of care our patients trust, thousands of miles from where that standard was built. We're not treating that lightly.

That's why our New Jersey opening is phased in two ways: how we transition patients' care, and which appointment types we offer as our team grows. Right away, our New Jersey clinic will be ready for food challenge appointments, onboardings, launches, and graduations. Adult TIP patients will not be seen in New Jersey immediately either, and will continue their care in California until that changes. Additional appointment types and patient groups will come online as our clinical team continues to expand. Our goal is for every patient who makes sense for New Jersey to eventually be seen here, for every part of their care, and we will get there. Just not all at once

Patients from 50 states and 22 countries trust our program.

  • California-based Care

Patients attend 4–6 in-person visits a year, with appointments averaging about an hour each. More than 50% of patients travel from outside California to receive care at our centers.

  • Make Progress From Home

More than 90% of treatment happens at home, with expert support guiding you through every step of the 2.5 to 4-year journey.

“To me, food freedom means the ability to eat whatever I want, whenever I want, however I want, and in whatever quantity I desire. It’s the liberty to choose not to eat a peanut, not because I’ll die if I eat it, but because I just don’t want to.” – TIP Graduate, Elizabeth

Frequently Asked

Questions

  • When does the New Jersey clinic open, and where is it located?

Our Hoboken, New Jersey clinic officially opens September 15. We'll share the full clinic address as we get closer to opening. In the meantime, patients in our transfer queue will receive appointment-specific details directly from our care team.

  • Is my care automatically transferring to New Jersey?

Transfers are being managed in structured phases based on geographic proximity, so not every patient transfers at once. If you're eligible for an upcoming phase, you'll receive a dedicated email confirming your transfer group and next steps. Until you receive that email, please continue attending your scheduled appointments at our Long Beach clinic.

  • Why is the opening phased instead of all at once?

Opening a clinic this far from our Long Beach headquarters is the biggest expansion we've taken on as a company: new providers, a new facility, and a new team all building toward the same standard of care our patients trust. We're phasing this in two ways: how we transition patients' care, and which appointment types we offer as our New Jersey team grows. At launch, we'll be ready for food challenge appointments, onboardings, launches, and graduations, with additional appointment types and patient groups, including adult TIP patients, added as our clinical team expands. Our goal is for every patient who makes sense for New Jersey to eventually be seen here for every part of their care. We'll get there, just not all at once.

  • How do I schedule my first New Jersey appointment?

New Jersey appointments cannot be scheduled by phone. Your care team will finalize your transfer details and schedule your first New Jersey visit with you in person, at checkout from your final California appointment.

  • What happens if I miss my upcoming California appointment?

Your next California appointment is the visit that finalizes your transfer, so it's essential to keep it. Missing it may delay your transition, particularly given the high volume of families currently in the transfer queue. If a genuine medical or family emergency comes up, our team will evaluate rescheduling on a case by case basis, though we can't guarantee your spot on the original timeline.

  • Will New Jersey treat adult patients?

Not at launch. Adult TIP patients will not be seen in New Jersey immediately, and treatment is targeted to become available there in March 2027. Adult patients will continue to be treated at our California locations until then.

  • Are international patients included in the New Jersey rollout?

Yes. International patients are included in our Phase 1 rollout, with food challenge appointments becoming available in November, December, and January. Look out for an email confirming your specific transfer details.

  • I signed up for the transfer list, but haven't received a phase assignment. What does that mean?

If you responded to our initial outreach but haven't yet been placed in a transfer phase, you're still on our list. We simply don't have a confirmed timeline to share yet, as our rollout is based on geographic proximity. We'll reach out as soon as your group's timeline is finalized. In the meantime, please continue attending your scheduled California appointments so your protocol stays on track.

  • I already have an upcoming appointment booked in California. Can it be moved to New Jersey instead?

Not directly. That upcoming California appointment is the visit that finalizes your transfer and schedules your first New Jersey appointment in person, so it needs to stay as scheduled. Once you're placed in a transfer phase, our team will handle moving your care to New Jersey from there.

  • Will New Jersey have weekend appointments?

Not to start. We'll expand our scheduling availability, including weekend options, as our New Jersey clinical team grows.

  • Will New Jersey be able to host graduation appointments?

Yes. Graduations are available at our New Jersey clinic starting at launch.

  • How do I stay updated on New Jersey opening news?

Major announcements are shared on our social media channels and in our newsletter, so make sure you're signed up if you haven't already. Detailed, case-specific information about your transfer will always be sent directly to you by email and shared again at your next clinical appointment, so it's important to keep all of your scheduled visits.

  • Is the new clinic in New York or New Jersey?

Our new clinic is located in Hoboken, New Jersey.

  • Will patients currently in remission be seen at the New Jersey clinic?

Not at launch, but yes, over time. Active patients living in or near New Jersey will be seen there within the first few months of opening. Patients in remission will eventually be able to be seen at the New Jersey clinic as well, once capacity allows.

  • When will active and remission patients from the New York and New Jersey area be able to go to the new clinic?

Detailed information about your next visit will be emailed to you over the next several weeks. Active patients living in or near New Jersey will be seen there within the first few months of opening. Patients in remission will eventually be seen at the New Jersey clinic too, but not at launch.
