Don’t let your allergies control your 4th of July this year. Read along to learn some tips on how you can celebrate this day independent of your allergies!

Patriotic Arts and Crafts

What better way to celebrate a holiday than with arts and crafts?! The 4th of July is an important holiday in America, and it’s all about being patriotic and showing pride in our country. Incorporate the colors red, white, and blue into any crafts you may partake in on this day! Here are some ideas:

  • Melt together red, white, and blue crayons into a mold to make a tye-dye USA mega-crayon! Adult supervision is necessary, especially if there are younger children.
  • Print out USA-themed coloring pages and color them in accordingly.
  • Buy a tye-dye kit and some white clothing like t-shirts and create some cool new USA clothes! You can even do this before the 4th of July so you can rock your red, white, and blue attire for the day!
  • Have your kids create some fork-stamped fireworks! Check out the instructions here!

Outdoor Activities for All Ages

If you’re lucky enough to live somewhere where it’s nice out on the 4th of July, you must take advantage of the summertime sun and get in as much outdoor time as you can! There are plenty of ways you can celebrate Independence Day outdoors. You can have a pool party with your family and friends with USA-themed pool floats and decorations. If you don’t have a pool, you can still spend time outdoors with your loved ones to celebrate this day! Make a fun photo wall where you can snap great pictures to hold your memories. Play games such as cornhole, spike ball, or even just have a catch. There’s no limit to the outdoor fun you can have while celebrating the 4th of July!
